Wonderful editorial in the NY Times discussing worker rights.
Under federal labor law, employees have the right to join together to seek better pay and working conditions, with or without a union. If an employer tries to punish organizers, employees have the right to seek protection from the National Labor Relations Board.
It seems the only things JetBlue would like flight attendants to know is that unions are bad, that we don’t need them and how they will be the down fall of the company. Yet the only thing that truly is falling is our competitiveness in the comparisons we post.
Keep in mind that the editorial discusses the National Labor Relations Board. JetBlue flight attendants are protected under the Railway Labor Act of 1926.
